Audi has released its latest model of cars under the Audi Q5 brand name. This compact crossover, called SQ5, packs in latest technology and offers greater performance and enhanced efficiency.
The new model is the fast version of the standard Q5. It has the same 3.0-liter V6 engine that consumes approximately 8.3 liters of fuel per 100 kilometer. The engine produces 354bhp and 396lb ft of torque and is capable of going from 0-62mph in 5.4 seconds. Coupled with the motor is an eight-speed tiptronic automatic transmission and all-wheel drive. The upgraded SQ5 Plus will be more faster with 368bhp.
Multiple driving modes will be available on the SQ5. Optional air suspension allows the driver to adjust the height of the suspension to the specific driving situation. Safety system includes forward collision warning with pedestrian detection, an automatic emergency braking sub-system and Pre-Sense rear technology which can detect an impending rear collision and prepare the driver and passangers for impact.
The SQ5 's interior is upgraded. It features S sport seats in Alcantara or leather, a flat-bottom steering wheel, matte brushed aluminum dashboard trim. The infotainment system is controlled by a new MMI all-in-touch and an 8.3-inch display controls. It has 4G connectivity and can be upgraded to include a wifi hotspot.
This car will release in spring 2017.
