1st-gen Audi TT gets stylized after Bugatti Veyron

This curious Veyron lookalike is actually just an early Audi TT with a few mods, and it costs €23,000 to buy.

The sports coupe, which came out in 2002, received the telltale horseshoe grille, headlights, and body panels. The body itself received a red-and-black makeover to make it look like a particularly popular color scheme of the original Veyron. Moving on to the rear end, things look less exciting with the rear apron proportions being a bit off and the enormous rear wing disrupting them further.

The cabin is nearly stock Audi TT, save for a couple of Bugatti logos and a new steering wheel without the standard airbag. The powertrain stays stock, which could mean anywhere between 150 and 225 horsepower (112 – 168 kilowatts), depending on the spec. While nowhere near the Veyron’s 1,000 to 1,200 hp (745 – 895 kW), the conversion makes up for it by not being nearly as expensive.

On an interesting final note, some people claim that the scope of modifications required to make a Bugatti out of an Audi isn’t that great, because both marques are part of the same Volkswagen Group.
