Many people think that a purebred sports car has to have a closed body design. Germany-based auto shop Urban Motors begs to differ with its splendid new take on the Audi TT RS roadster.
The car wears the full Aerokit 1 by Audi Performance Parts, including a front splitter, side flaps, side skirt extensions, a rear diffuser, and a fixed carbon wing on the trunk.
A closer look additionally reveals a carbon hood cover with a pronounced air intake dome. The latter bit isn’t there just for show, because the stock 2.5-liter, five-cylinder engine enjoys a boost from its usual 400 hp (300 kW) to 510 hp (385 kW). The torque simultaneously rises from 510 to 650 Nm (from 376 to 480 pound-feet).
Further highlights include Glossy Black OZ Leggera HLT wheels 20 inches across, Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S tires, KW Variant 3 coilovers, and carbon-ceramic rear brakes transplanted from an Audi S7.
