The sporty Audi TT RS packs a highly efficient 2.5-liter five-cylinder straight off the factory, which gives it 400 PS (394 hp / 294 kW) and 480 Nm (356 lb-ft) of torque. This tuned example is more than 1.5 times as powerful, and can go as fast as most supercars.
Featured in a new video by AutoTopNL, the Audi hits the transmission with 625 PS (616 hp / 460 kW) and 718 Nm (530 lb-ft of torque). This makes it stronger than the range-topping Audi R8 Performance Quattro with twice the cylinder count and twice the displacement. As a result, it can hit 317 km/h (197 miles per hour) in a straight line, although the GPS odometer to the left of the dash screen insists it’s only 312 km/h (194 mph). Not too shabby either way!
Even more impressive is the immersive drone coming from the stock exhaust. You wouldn’t hear it in a stock car, because it ships capped at 250 km/h (155 mph) or 280 km/h (174 mph) if you opt for a sports package.
Put your headphones on and enjoy!
