Audi has shared a photo showing the last production example of its TT sports car rolling off the assembly line in Győr, Hungary. A sticker on the windshield claims it happened on November 10, but we haven’t heard of it until now.
The Audi TT history has spanned three generations, 25 years in production and whopping 662,762 units made. The last produced example was a TTS Quattro spec packing a 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbo rated at 320 PS (316 hp / 235 kW).
If you look closely, you will also see the progenitor of the entire TT lineup in the photo – the TT Concept of 1995.
The expensive and powerful Audi R8 is also on its way out these days, and the company admits that there will be no direct successor.
