Avatr announces plans to go global by 2027

Chinese automaker Avatr is planning on expanding its presence on the export markets over the next few years, Carscoops is reporting. The marque’s strategy until 2027 focuses on launching production in Europe.

The brand’s current portfolio consists of just two vehicles – a light passenger car called the 12 and a crossover SUV named the 11 (featured in the gallery below). Rumor has it that the company is working on two new models called 13 and 14. These are expected to have the same design traits as the first two, but it is still unclear what kind of cars they will be.

The company mentioned before that it was considering releasing a minivan in India, but said that even if it would be greenlit into production, it would not be available outside of the country.

In 2024, Avatr plans to start shipping its vehicles to markets outside of China. Southeastern Asia and UAE will be the first to take delivery followed by Europe, which will benefit from localized production. The factory remains to be built, and the last time Avatr spoke of it, it was supposed to be built in Germany.
