Bisu, a Chinese automotive brand founded by Yinxiang Motorcycle Group and BAIC, has revealed first teaser images of a new crossover/coupe vehicle it plans to release on the domestic market in August 2018.
The small-time SUV goes under the provisional model name of T7. We don’t know yet whether the car is going to make it into production with this name, but the manufacturer has given us its precise dimensions to consider. Being 4,820 mm (15.8 ft.) long, 1,915 mm (6.3 ft.) wide and 1,660 mm (5.45 ft.) tall, the newcomer is larger than the current flagship model of the series, the T5.
Reportedly, its equipment includes a digital instrument panel, an infotainment system with a giant touchscreen display situated above the dashboard, and a heads-up display. Judging by the photos, the car also gets the Start/Stop button, but that one is located on the console and not under the steering wheel where we’re used to it.
Some say the T7 may get a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine with up to 200 hp (150 kW), paired with a six-speed mechanical or automatic transmission. The vehicle is also pretty much guaranteed to come front-driven, since 4WD cars aren’t popular in China.
Once out, the vehicle will be Bisu’s 4th release after the T5, T3 and M3. Apart from Bisu, crossover/coupe models are also manufactured and sold in China by Dongfeng, Geely, Borgward, Venucia, Mazda and Honda.
