Batman’s Tumbler vehicle featured in Christopher Nolan movies has received a real-life implementation currently exhibited in the Van Daryl Gallery, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
Various tuners keep building all kinds of Batmobile imitations, but Nguyen Dac Chung, architect and artist, has teamed up with his assistants to make the world’s first electric Tumbler. You can see the car in Batman: Origins (2005), The Dark Knight (2008) and The Dark Knight Returns (2012).
The futuristic ride features a stainless-steel tube-frame with a mix between plastic, carbon fiber and steel bodywork. The doors are power-assisted and remotely controlled. The whole replica is only 3.7 meters long, 2.4 meters wide and 1.3 meters tall (145x94x51 inches). The wheels are sharply staggered at 13” front and 18” rear.
Power and acceleration numbers remain undisclosed, but it is official that the top speed does not exceed 105 km/h (65 mph).
Van Daryl accepts purchase requests and says all pricing information is available strictly to interested customers.
