To celebrate its 100th anniversary, luxury car manufacturer Bentley will unveil an innovative concept car that will give us a glimpse of what we should expect from the marque in the future.
The design study will incorporate a number of groundbreaking technologies that the British company believes should become the industry norm in the coming decades.
According to Bentley Chief Designer Stefan Sielaff, the design department has been busy perfecting the exterior of the vehicle for the past two years, but the project is still far from complete. Company representatives use the word ‘innovative’ to describe the appearance of the design study. They also mention that the next mass-produced Bentley model will make use of some of its stylistic features.
According to a source who claims inside knowledge of the company’s affairs, the anniversary concept is essentially a sports coupe built with the Bentley EXP10 Speed 6 Concept as a starting point. Revealed at the Geneva International Motor Show in Switzerland, the latter came powered by a high-end hybrid powertrain, but the company refused to provide any specifics beyond that.
