An anonymous source claims Bentley’s in-house customizer is working on a small batch of 12 Grand Tourer vehicles priced from £1,500,000 each.
Allegedly, every car sports an open cabin and resembles the EXP 100 GT Concept in overall design. The series makes use of some of the innovative finishing materials found in that study, such as wood extracted from ancient peat bogs and fabric woven from recycled winemaking byproducts. It comes powered by the company’s signature W12 engine.
As for the EXP 100 GT Concept itself (see the gallery and the video), Bentley admits that it has turned out too revolutionary to produce en masse. Instead, the company will keep it as a show exhibit and reuse some of its tech in future releases. This includes the Bentley Personal Assistant, a feature that you can use to create a unique ambient lighting scheme or simulate an open-top driving experience.
