Mulliner, in-house customization shop for Bentley clients, has begun assembling the first pre-production copy of the resurrected classic car called Team Blower, which celebrates its 100th anniversary in 2029.
Mulliner said last year that it would like to recreate the historic vehicle in full detail based on a surviving example dated 1929 and produce 12 copies of it for collectors.
The test sample is nearly finished: the chassis and most units are already there, including the radiator, the fuel tank, the engine and so on. The body of the car is made of elm wood.
Bentley Mulliner says it will reveal the prototype later this year and then proceed to make 12 such cars for clients who have already pre-ordered the entire series.
