Bentley has joined the growing list of manufacturers who are looking into cleaner alternatives to the fossil fuels. The British automaker brought six cars to this year’s Goodwood Festival, and all six ran on biofuels.
The company pointed out that no modifications had been made to any of the cars: the biofuel was simply poured in instead of regular pump gas. Even the antique EXP2 model produced in 1920 was entirely fine with running on the synthetic liquid.
Per Bentley, biofuels are a 100% renewable resource and help reduce CO2 emissions by around 85% compared to regular gas.
