Luxury car manufacturer Bentley has worked together with coachbuilder Mulliner to produce five unique Bentayga SUVs dedicated to the pearl fishers of the Persian Gulf. An anonymous client from the Middle East ordered the creation of this strictly limited series.
The main distinguishing feature of the Bentley Bentayga Pearl of Gulf Edition is its custom interior. The front fascia is trimmed with dark eucalyptus wood adorned with pictures of Arabic dhow pearl boats and richly encrusted with pearls. The dashboard clock also bears the same ornament.
Aside from these highlights, the entire passenger space exhibits the same “pearlescent” theme. Each seat sports the car’s serial number stitched in gold, and you can find the same number on the illuminated door sills.
The opulent Bentley Bentayga Pearl of Gulf houses a safe compartment in the center armrest, has sheep-wool floor mats and boasts Mulliner logos here and there.
The 4WD SUV comes powered by a 6.0-liter W12 engine rated at 600 hp (447 kW) and 900 Nm (664 lbft) of torque, linked to an eight-speed automatic transmission.
Prices remain undisclosed.
