According to sources as yet unconfirmed, the British luxury car producer Bentley Motors plans to release an engine update for its latest Bentley Bentayga. The car is going to take advantage of a new high-performance V8 motor.
It bears reminding that the current Bentley Bentayga ships with either a six-liter W12 gasoline engine or a four-liter V8 diesel.
In addition to the above, car industry professionals expect the new Bentley Bentayga to get a four-liter V8 gasoline motor by VW Group.
It is the same engine the latest Porsche Cayenne and Lamborghini Urus comes equipped with. All three cars utilize the same MLB platform, so no issues should arise during the retrofitting process.
Interestingly, while the Cayenne version of the motor outputs 550 horsepower, its Urus counterpart yields as many as 650. Just how potent it is going to be in Bentyaga remains to be seen.
As far as the official information goes, we know that a hybrid version of Bentley Bentayga debuts next summer.
