Car spotters have come home with a bunch of Bentley Bentayga photos revealing rather unusual stylistic choices and mods.
Among other things, the crossover SUV is obviously a Bentayga Speed outfitted with the optional Blackline package, but the wheels are silver instead of black. Their normal size is 22 inches, but we aren’t sure if this is the case here as well.
Mysteries continue at the rear end. Two pairs of demi-oval tailpipes look creative, but wouldn’t it be more practical to go with just two large ovals? That, and the rear diffuser has been redesigned considerably. Unless we are wrong, the suspension seems a little bit lower, too.
To summarize: it is hard to predict what Bentley could be testing with this Bentayga Speed prototype. It could be a new version of the Blackline package, or an engine tune – car manufacturers seldom take their cars to the Nürburgring without a good reason, but it eludes us in this particular case.
