Bentley, a renowned luxury car manufacturer, has announced the forthcoming release of a special version of its Bentayga crossover which will participate in the race on Pikes Peak in Colorado, U.S.A.
The car is being developed by the sports subdivision of Bentley. There isn’t much information available to date, but it has been revealed that the car would get a W12 gasoline engine running at max. 608 hp and 900 Nm torque. The mountain-ready Bentley Bentayga should also be equipped with air suspension and active anti-roll bars. It’s hardly worth mentioning that it also gets all-wheel drive.
Bentley hopes that all of the above will allow their latest creation to secure a new world record in the SUV category on the Pikes Peak track. So far the honor has been held by the Range Rover Sport, which completed the 20-kilometer run with 156 turns in 12 minutes 35.61 seconds.
