Carmakers, big and small, continue focusing their efforts on the most lucrative segment of the market – SUVs and crossovers. In its latest video, Carwow puts two luxury cars form that segment up against each other – but not on tarmac, as one might expect.
For starters, let us note that the Land rover utilizes a 4.4-liter twin-turbocharged V8 rated at 530 PS (523 hp / 390 kW) and 750 Nm (553 lb-ft) of torque. The Bentayga has a 4.0-liter V8 TT at its disposal capable of superior 550 PS (542 hp / 404 kW) and 770 Nm (568 lb-ft).
The Bentley weighs in at 2,415 kg (5,324 pounds), while the Land Rover tips the scales at 2,510 kg (5,534 pounds). However, there is one more extremely important parameter that’s easy to miss: ground clearance. Riding 295 mm (11.5 inches) above the terrain, the Range Rover easily outmatches the city dweller Bentayga with its modest 247 mm (9.65 inches).
