No.1 Bentley Bentayga EWB by Mulliner sells for $1M

Bentley revealed that its very first Bentayga SUV with an extended wheelbase went under the hammer in Florida for U.S. $1 million. The money gained will be donated to charities.

The car was made to specification by Mulliner and given a unique cabin trim, the company points out. It was also built specifically with the charity auction in mind. It is longer than the standard version (in the video below) and boasts a ‘Snow Quartz’ (pearlescent white) exterior with black trim bits like the grille, the window frames and the door moldings coming from the Blackline Package. The wheels measure 22 inches across.

The interior makes use of black and white leather interspersed with amethyst accents. Look for them on the steering wheel, the transmission selector and the pockets on the doors.

The rear row is occupied by the so-called Airline Seats – Bentley claims this is the world’s most comfortable seat design. Aside from having dozens of adjustments, the seats can read their own temperature and humidity and react accordingly to ensure a perfect microclimate at all times.

Along with the vehicle, the buyers (or, rather, the buyers – a family coupe) will be getting a tour of England and Scotland with the opportunity to visit many major landmarks and picturesque areas on the way. Bentley will be inviting them to its factory in Crewe and to the famous Macallan Distillery.
