Bentley Bentayga gets a dedicated compartment for valuables

The British luxury car manufacturer Bentley has outfitted its Bentley Bentayga SUV with a special compartment for storing various valuable items. The aluminum strongbox can only be opened with a fingerprint scan.

According to Bentley, this feature will allow Bentayga owners to leave their wristwatch or smartphone in the car without having to worry about thieves. The strongbox even contains a few USB charger ports for this purpose. It’s also pretty versatile with the ability to store and recognize fingerprints from multiple people.

Those who are looking to buy the luxury-laden Bentley Bentayga can get it with either a 4.0L, twin-turbo V8 engine rated at 550 hp and 770 Nm of torque, or a power-packed 6.0L W12 with 608 hp and 900 Nm, or otherwise a 4.0L diesel with 435 hp and 900 Nm. An environmentally-friendly hybrid model is also available.
