Bentley Motors declassified the brand-new Bentley
Continental GT. The car received revolutionary changes and has practically nothing
to do with its predecessor.
The luxury two-door is certainly recognizable, but its
appearance has become more impudent and aggressive. There are not so many
changes in proportions of the car. The front axle of the novelty was shifted
forward by 135 millimeters, due to which the length of the hood increased and
the front overhang changed. The dimensions of the Bentley Continental GT are as
follows: length - 4,805 mm, width - 1,954 mm and height - 1,392 mm.
The coupe was built on a modular MSB platform, so the
car became lighter than the previous model. The body is made of aluminum, which
is made by special technology Super Formed. With it's help it was possible to
more clearly make the most complicated lines of the novelty.
Under the hood of the Bentley Continental GT 2018
model year is a completely new high-performance six-liter unit W12 TSI capable
of generating 635 horsepower and 900 Nm of torque. it will work in tandem
with an eight-band automatic gearbox with two clutches. As reported in the
company, the acceleration to the first "hundreds" of the coupe will
take 3.7 seconds, and its maximum speed will be 333 km/h. Further the engine
range will be replenished with other versions.
It is worth saying a few words about the new interior
of the chic car. The salon has a fully digital dashboard, a new infotainment system
with a 12.3 inch display, other front seats with massage function and built-in
ventilation, Naim or Bang & Olufsen audio system, advanced climate control
and of course expensive leather, chrome and tree handmade decoration.
The world premiere of the luxury coupe Bentley
Continental GT will be held at the International Motor Show in Frankfurt.
