Katrin Fridriks-painted Continental GT exhibited in London

Bentley Jack Barclay, a car dealership based in London, has exhibited an original Bentley Continental GT art car borne out of cooperation with JD Malat Gallery. The example on display is not for sale, but another one is coming soon. Prices are request-only.

The authorship of the abstract paintwork belongs to Katrin Fridriks, an abstract artist from Iceland. She chose speed as the leitmotif for her work. Among other things, Katrin says she tried to depict the speed of light, hence the name of the project: Speed of Light Commander. Starting with a black Continental GT, she first splashed it with paint and then applied lighter hues with a brush.

The art coupe comes powered by Bentley’s standard six-liter W12 rated at 635 hp (474 kW) and 900 Nm (664 pound-feet) of torque.
