Bentley Design Services and Netherlands-based company Contest Yachts have teamed up to find a stylistic union between a Contest 59 CS marine yacht and a Bentley Continental GT V8 Coupe.
An anonymous client asked for the exteriors to be finished in blue and interiors in red and beige. Like the car, the boat was adorned with ‘diamond-in-diamond’ stitching patterns requiring 714 manual stitches per shape.
Powering the coupe is a four-liter twin-turbo eight-banger rated at 550 PS (542 hp / 404 kW) and 770 Nm (568 lb-ft) of torque. The yacht is 18 meters (59 feet) long and mainly uses its 102m2 (1,098 square feet) large sail for propulsion, although it also packs a Volvo Penta engine with 150 PS (148 hp / 110 kW).
