Bespoke Bentley Flying Spur goes under the hammer for €700,000

The Elton John AIDS Foundation has held a charity auction recently, where it sold a unique Bentley Flying Spur sedan/saloon from the First Edition batch. The still-to-be-produced car fetched €700,000, which is around three times its market price.

The winning bidder will now be able to customize the exterior and cabin of his vehicle before the actual assembly begins. Bentley says the client can use imagination and pick virtually any color they like, any cabin configuration and trim, and any amount of tech features.

The new Flying Spur utilizes the Porsche Panamera platform and comes powered by a six-liter W12 monster engine pushing out 635 hp (474 kW) to all four wheels. It only needs 4.5 seconds to reach 100 km/h (62 mph) and has adaptive suspension along with rear-wheel steering.

The First Edition series additionally sports Great Britain flag badges, chrome-coated sills with inscriptions, and a panoramic glass roof. Inside, the series has the full Touring Specification package installed alongside an extended range of electronic driver aids and a HUD display.
