Bentley will be revealing the Flying Spur S in Goodwood, but we already know what the car is all about thanks to a detailed announcement.
Black finish on the radiator grille, front bumper, sides, mirrors, window bezels and exhaust tips will differentiate the upmarket saloon from the standard model. The headlights and taillights are also tinted somewhat.
Buyers get to choose from multiple wheel designs. There are 22-inch, five-Y-spoke wheels available in gloss black and satin black finishes. As an alternative, you can go for a 21-inch, three-spoke set. The brake calipers will be red regardless of your choices.
Engine-wise, one version is a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 rated at 550 PS (542 hp / 404 kW) and 770 Nm (568 lb-ft) of torque. The other one is a V6-based hybrid powertrain rated at 544 PS (536 hp / 400 kW) and 750 Nm (553 lb-ft) of torque. The former sprints 0-97 km/h (0-60 mph) in four seconds flat, and the latter is one-tenth of a second slower than that.
