Mulliner’s latest take on the Bentley Flying Spur sedan, Continental GT coupe and Bentayga SUV sings praise to the city of Istanbul, Türkiye and its architectural charms. The cars will be sold exclusively at the Bentley showroom in the Turkish capital; the prices and the quantity haven’t been announced yet.
The entire Istanbul Silhouette lineup has been stylized after the major historical monuments and tourist attractions of Istanbul, as well as its southern nature. For example, the company says that the combination of a Black Sapphire body color with Dragonfly Blue accents resembles the shade of the sea water in the Bosporus Strait.
In turn, the interiors get a uniform Beluga leather trim with vivid blue accents, evoking associations with the sophisticated tile décor of The Blue Mosque of Istanbul – or so Bentley says. Blue embroidery all around depicts such iconic landmarks of the city as the Galata Tower and its numerous bridges. Natural wood and stone inserts round off the deluxe styling project.
From the technical perspective, every car is a standard Azure spec featuring a 4.0-liter V8 with 550 PS (542 hp / 405 kW) and 770 Nm (568 lb-ft) of torque.
