The Mulsanne 6.75 Edition by Mulliner will emerge in a batch of 30 cars, putting a full stop in the history of the luxury saloon and elevating the Flying Spur to the pinnacle of the model range.
Aside from just being a means of saying ‘Goodbye’, the Mulsanne 6.75 Edition by Mulliner simultaneously celebrates the recent 60th anniversary of the company’s treasured 7.65-liter V8 engine.
The rarity will be based on the Mulsanne Speed platform with its 537 hp (400 kW) and 1,100 Nm (811 lb-ft) of torque. It will feature black décor on certain elements, including the brand logo, unique seat embroidery, depictions of engine blueprints, multi-layer lacquer coating, aluminum front panel inserts, and much more.
The Mulsanne was actually Bentley’s last remaining model on the lineup to still ship with the old 6.75-liter mill on board. All others have switched to Volkswagen-branded V8 alternatives or larger W12s.
