Queen Elizabeth II’s Bentley Mulsanne goes for 2.5x the sticker price

This unique Bentley Mulsanne that used to belong to Her Royal Majesty Queen Elizabeth II found a new owner for the asking price of £180,000, or two and a half times the usual price.

Queen Elizabeth used the luxury sedan from 2013 to 2015, after which it returned to the manufacturer and was handed over to a dealership with only around 4,000 kilometers (2,500 miles) on the clock.

The car is nearly indistinguishable from its peers on the outside, except perhaps only for the blue strobe lights built into the radiator grille and veneer-trimmed tables hidden in the front seat backs. It is reported that no special modifications or armoring was carried out.

Powering the ride is a 6.75-liter V8 rated at 512 PS (505 hp / 377 kW) and 1,020 Nm (752 lb-ft) of torque. A ZF eight-speed automatic transmission sends the momentum to the rear wheels.
