Bentley to revive the Mulsanne with fewer doors than before

The Bentley Mulsanne will be coming back from retirement before 2030, losing two doors and thus transforming from sedan to coupe, Autocar claims citing the CEO of the company.

The new Mulsanne will allegedly be all-electric and belong to the five staple EVs Bentley plans to launch in 2025-2029. Apparently, bringing back the sedan would not work well due to the waning demand. Jato Dynamics reports that the share of four-door light passenger cars in the global market has fallen from 22% to just nine percent over the past decade.

Technical parameters remain unannounced, but Bentley promises up to 500 km (310 miles) of range for its first electric car.
