The team of Dany Bahar – once the CEO of Lotus and now the owner and head of the car customization firm Ares Design – have applied their best efforts to turn the luxury Bentley Mulsanne sedan into a coupe. Visitors to a special event celebrating a new factory opening in Modena, Italy, were the first to see the result with their own eyes.
Cooperating with their German colleagues from Mcchip-DK, Ares Design engineers have completely overhauled the rear part of Bentley Mulsanne. In particular, they had to design and produce new carbon fiber and aluminum body parts. They also transformed the interior of the car. It isn’t clear whether any under-the-hood modifications were performed for the posh British vehicle.
The series-produced Bentley Mulsanne sedan comes with a power-packed 6.75L twin-turbo V8 engine with 512 hp and 1020 Nm torque. It can accelerate to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 5.5 seconds and go at slightly under 300 km/h (185 mph).
