dÄHLer fixes the long-leggedness of the F40 BMW 1 Series

The Bavarian premium automaker’s approach to automotive design has been causing much controversy lately, the new BMW 1 Series (F40) not being an exception. Some criticize the small hatchback for its giant ‘nose grille’, others bemoan the switch from rear to front drive, and others yet find the ride height too high. At least dÄHLer Design & Technik GmbH can fix the latter.

The German tuner has made its best-selling forged wheel set – CDC1 – compatible with the F40 BMW 1 Series. The silver-tinted aluminum monoblock wheels with ten elegantly arched spokes appear an excellent match for this particular model. As for the clearance, dÄHLer drops that a bit, too, reportedly using in-house designed suspension components.

The CDC1 set is available in alloy and forged variants, as well as a wide range of finishes.
