BMW M135i xDrive gets a minor mid-life refresh

BMW rolled out the M135i xDrive in the spring of 2019, and while it may still be relevant enough, a slight update was perhaps due by now. Here it comes!

Interestingly, most of the changes are technical rather than visual. You can now order your M135i xDrive in exclusive shades of yellow, orange and grey, but that’s about it for the exterior. The chassis enjoys a much wider range of upgrades, including new suspension link supports at both axles, new shock absorbers and springs, and a different front wheel alignment angle.

The internal combustion engine – a two-liter turbocharged four-cylinder rated at 306 PS (302 hp / 225 kW) and 450 Nm (332 lb-ft) – stays stock. An eight-speed automatic transmission drives all four wheels, enabling a sprint to the highway speed in 4.8 seconds.
