The latest BMW M3 and M4 generation introduced a new color into the carmaker’s palette: Isle of Man Green. It may not be obvious, but BMW will actually give an older car the same coat if you ask it. The buyer of this F40 BMW M135i did just that and proceeded to tune up his ride some more.
The works were carried out by Motech Performance UK. The company endowed the 1-Series with blacked-out kidney grilles, a Zaero body kit, new side mirrors and exhaust tips, and a Remus exhaust system. 19-inch Motech MW1 wheels finished in black filled out the arches along with Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S. The suspension lost 35 mm (1.4 in) of height at the front and 30 mm (1.2 in) at the rear.
There is still more, though. Motech used Tarox components to upgrade the already capable brakes for track use and plugged in its own external tuning box to persuade the engine to part with 335 PS (330 hp / 246 kW) instead of its usual 300 PS (296 hp / 221 kW).
All prices remain undisclosed.
