Mere hours after revealing the BMW M8 coupe and convertible, the Bavarian car manufacturer announced a range of M Performance Parts for both vehicles.
The company says the options and accessories will be compatible with all M8 trims, including the Competition. It also mentions that the design team drew inspiration from the M8 GTE racecar when it created the styling kit.
Exterior novelty comes in the form of a carbon radiator grille, side sill extensions, and numerous other carbon trim elements. By the way, the M Performance Parts is not the only source of carbon fiber add-ons for the M8. There is also the Carbon Package, which offers a different assortment of parts, so you should probably consider grabbing both if you want it all.
The more practical upgrades include new high-performance brake pads (previously only available for the BMW Motorsport vehicles), a carbon paddle shifter, a sports steering wheel wrapped in leather or Alcantara, bags for storing wheels, and a special indoor car cover that should protect it from dirt, dust, and scratches.
