The latest BMW 2 Series has been spotted testing in the streets quite a few times, but this is the first time we can actually peek into the cabin.
There is quite a bit of disguise present, but even so, everything looks just like in the latest 2 Series Gran Coupe. Unlike its four-door counterpart, the two-door model sticks to its rear-wheel drive.
There are quite a few hits that the car is an M Performance spec: the sports steering wheel, the large rear spoiler and wheels, and the dual trapezoid exhaust tips.
Right now, you can buy a 2 Series with an affordable 1.5-liter turbo three-cylinder under the hood. Rumor has it that the next generation will feature a 2.0-liter turbo four-cylinder in its base spec and the traditional BMW I6 in the top spec.
The standard BMW 2 Series Coupe should reach the mass market next year, followed some time later by the M2, M2 Competition, and M2 CS versions.
