The G42 generation of the BMW M240i is still young, but tuners have already boosted its engine output from 374 PS (369 hp / 275 kW) to 450 PS (444 hp / 331 kW). Officially Gassed tested the result in a recent video.
In addition to an external ECU module (JB4), the car ended up with an Eventuri cold air intake system and a Miltek exhaust. As far as we know, there were no other modifications.
The latest BMW M3 still comes on top of the tuned M240i with 510 PS (503 hp / 375 kW), but it also weighs 55 kilos (121 lbs) more. Does it have what it takes to outpace the tuned coupe? As usual, the answer is right here in the video.
