The well-known Bavarian automaker BMW plans to occupy another niche of the car market. As it became known, now the company is considering the prospects of launching a new sports SUV X8. The car is planned to be manufactured in various modifications that will compete on an equal footing with Range Rover Velar, Audi Q8, Bentley Bentayga, Lamborghini Urus and Rolls-Royce Cullinan.
Now, there is no detailed information on the novelty, but auto experts are speculating that the BMW X8 will be designed on the basis of the platform from the flagship "Seven". The output of the sport cross in the series is expected in 2020, and when it is created, the most modern technologies and materials will be used.
Also, we can safely assume that when the car leaves the series, it will be equipped with several power units, and later, following the trends of the time, the production of hybrid and "charged" versions of the BMW X8 will be set up.
