Suspension parts manufacturer H&R has released a lowering spring set for the latest BMW 3 Series. The set fits all standard suspension types, with the adaptive shock absorbers being the only no-go.
Once installed, the springs bring the vehicle another 30 – 40 mm (1.2 – 1.6 inches, based on your particular model) closer to the road. They make the suspension stiffer overall, providing for improved handling during sharp, fast turns. The manufacturer also claims the added stiffness isn’t noticeable enough to become a problem during long trips.
Finally yet importantly, the H&R kit lends the Bavaria-made sports sedan/saloon a sleeker and more aggressive appearance.
