The latest-gen BMW 3 Series sedan is getting ready for its planned facelift, and a test example spotted recently reveals something rather intriguing.
While the exterior stays mainly stock, the cabin catches attention with a tarp covering the entire dashboard. It looks very much like there could be an iDrive infotainment system underneath that debuted with the all-electric iX SUV.
The setup combines a 12.3-inch dash display and a 14.9-inch infotainment screen into a single curved panel. We likely will not know for until closer to the premiere, though, which remains scheduled for summer 2022.
