When the seemingly omnipresent car paparazzi tracked down and photographed a BMW 3 Series facelift this spring, it looked dull and barely different. This one is another story altogether.
The car lacks a radiator grille, but the hole in the front fascia is not nearly big enough to accommodate the controversial new M3/M4 nostrils, so it looks like those who wanted a more classical look are in luck this time around.
Also new is a front bumper with air vents, carbon-fiber mirror caps, and rear spoiler. Judging by the latter two, the 3 Series shown here has some M Performance upgrades on.
The cabin remains a mystery, but major changes are expected there. The digital dash and the multimedia screens might end up merged into one and tilted slightly towards the driver.
