The BMW E36 counts among the world’s most popular Bavarian cars for tuning, and this Green Metallic 318i is no exception. Its owner has already given it a custom body kit and wheels, and plans to swap the engine soon.
The 1994MY convertible can be mistaken for an M3 because of its side skirts and body kit, but it is a regular 3-Series. It still looks amazing with all the mods on and especially the Pininfarina BBS 17-inch rollers sporting blue hubcaps and badges of the Italian coachbuilder. Spacers and adjustable lowering springs are used to ensure the wheels fill out their respective arches perfectly.
In the second video attached to this news article, tuner Chromatic Garage tells about an engine swap the convertible is currently being prepared for. The stock four-cylinder mill will make room for an S52 inline-six block rated at 240 PS (237 hp / 176 kW).
