The seventh generation of the BMW 3-Series has gotten around to its planned facelift. Both the sedan and the wagon will be available from July 2022 priced at €43,900 before options.
Changes were made to the headlight outlines and contents, both bumpers, and the nostril grille – which has only become larger. Aside from the M Sport Package, customers may now opt for M Sport Pro, which replaces the lights all around and adds red M brake calipers.
Just as we expected, the interior now features a large curved display combining a 12.3-inch digital dashboard and a 14.9-inch infotainment screen in one interface powered by iDrive 8. Three-zone HVAC is available for the first time on record, and the rearview mirror supports automatic dimming. Sat-nav is included in the base spec, but you can pay extra for a heads-up display and a suite of advanced driving aids.
Power options are represented by petrol engines rated between 156 – 374 PS (154 – 369 hp; 115 – 275 kW) and diesel ones churning out up to 286 PS (282 hp / 210 kW). A couple of plug-in hybrids is also available, rated at 204 and 292 PS (201 and 288 hp; 150 and 215 kW, respectively).
