Even though BMW has already commenced the tests of its updated 3-Series G20 sedan, hardly any information gets disclosed to the public at the moment. Independent designers and artists use this opportunity to submit their own hypothetical renditions of what the car would look like once it hits the streets. Let’s have a look at one of these, shall we?
This fan art showing what its author believes to be the new BMW 3-Series G20 has lately emerged online. It’s based on the recently made spy photos of the car’s test mule and should thus be pretty accurate.
From the artist’s point of view, the new BMW 3-Series G20 compact sedan will receive most of its design features from its senior model – the BMW 5-Series – while getting a sleeker, more sculptured body with numerous chrome parts througout.
Industry professionals believe that the new BMW 3-Series G20 will take advantage of the CLAR platform for improved durability and reduced weight. It is expected to be released with a wide gamut of gasoline and diesel engines to pick your favorite from, as well as an on-demand 4WD. Whichever the case, the newcomer should debut at a motor show this fall.
