Latest rumors circulating online agree that the famous Bavaria-based car manufacturer BMW is going to enable more car models to take advantage of the Competition Package upgrade soon. In addition to M3 and M4, it is likely to be released for X5 M и X6 M SUVs.
As you probably know, the BMW Competition Package doesn’t just improve engine performance for the sedan and the coupe mentioned above. Aside from that, both cars receive chassis adjustments, improved suspension and a better exhaust system. The company has plans to release the same upgrade kit for its business sedan, BMW M5. Once installed, the Competition Package should raise the performance of its 600-horsepower engine to more closely match that of Mercedes-AMG E63 S. The BMW X3 M is also going to get the upgrade in the near future.
If the rumors are to be believed, BMW may officially introduce more powerful versions of X5 M and X6 M to the public in 2019.
