The German premium car brand BMW has begun assembly of the preliminary 2019 X7 crossover batch in the United States. The cars will be used for homologation purposes and running road tests in extreme weather conditions.
The manufacturer denied comment, except for stating that the initial batch should allow to gather the necessary statistics and decide whether the car is ready for full-scale mass production.
All “first-timers” to roll off the assembly line will have their bodies camouflaged, but BMW wisely decided to avoid frustrating its fans too much and published a photo of the new X7 in its full glory.
The company plans to eventually bring its latest BMW X7 SUVs onto all major markets where they would provide strong competition for the latest Range Rover and Mercedes GLS-Class.
