The car is painted in black color, and paint on the most part of a body opaque, only on bumpers and a cowl — glossy. Internal finishing is shaded by a yellow pro-line on chairs and rugs. It is noted that the new variation of the i8 sports car is equipped with the same hybrid power plant (the 1,5-liter engine with an electric motor) with a power of 357 horsepowers, as the standard version of the car.
Now one more variation of Bavarian sports car — Protonic Frozen Yellow Edition is being prepared for release. The "black" special version has to go on sale in April, 2017, the "yellow" version will appear a bit later.
First "colourful" versions of the model BMW i8 - Ionic Silver, Crystal White and Sophisto Grey appeared three years ago. Then it was the release of the "blue" and "red" version. The most expensive versions were cars with individual colors, issued within BMW Individual program for the i8.
