BMW reveals a recycled car concept

The BMW i Vision Circular is a prototype that should convince everyone that the Bavarian car manufacturer treats nature with great respect and care. It will be present at the IAA Munich starting on Sept. 6, 2021, but here’s a teaser pic in the meantime.

The BMW i Vision Circular impresses in several ways, First, it is made completely out of recycled materials. Second, it is itself 100% recyclable. Third, the company made it using production approaches that left a near-zero footprint on the environment.

In addition to being ostentatiously green, the prototype is also supposed to ‘demonstrate the premium mobility means of the future’. We admit to having no idea what that could mean.

By the late 2020s, BMW plans to reduce its CO2 emissions by half and raise the share of EVs in its lineup to 50%. You may watch the videos in our gallery if you need a reminder of what BMW cars already run on pure electric power.
