German tuner G-POWER has announced a performance upgrade called “GP 40i Edition”, meant for BMW M140i, M240i, 340i, and 440i models equipped with the B58B30 inline-six engine.
Depending on the particular modification, the unit produces between 326 and 374 horsepower (243…279 kilowatts, accordingly). Once upgraded with the G-Power kit, however, it ascends to 420 hp (313 kW) and 600 Nm (443 lbft) of torque.
The tuner predictably chose the high-end BMW 440i Gran Coupé (F36) to showcase the upgrade. The car received a better muffler and an ECU remap, enabling it to sprint 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in just 4.2 seconds.
The executive coupe also gained a set of 20-inch Hurricane RR forged wheels, coilovers, and the G-Power Identity Package including numerous G-Power logos and emblems for the car body and interior.
