AC Schnitzer launches a full spectrum of options for the BMW 4 Series Cabrio

BMW specialist AC Schnitzer launched a wide range of aftermarket accessories for the newest BMW 4 Series Coupe a while ago (see video), and has now followed up with similar options for the 4 Series Convertible.

Owners of the diesel-powered 430d, the gas-guzzling 420i and 430i, and the high-end M440i may now opt for a power upgrade. Results vary from 224 PS (221 hp / 165 kW) for the 420i to 420 PS (415 hp / 309 kW) for the M440i.

An active-valve sports exhaust system made of stainless steel is available with three kinds of finisher tips (carbon, chrome and anodized). AC Schnitzer suggests lowering the suspension by 15-25 mm (0.6”-1”) using a carefully picked combination of springs and shocks, and putting all-new AC4 Flow Forming wheels sized 20” across in the arches. Another option comes in the guise of older 19” and 20” AC1 wheels.

As far as the body kit is concerned, the front splitter is said to generate 35 additional kilograms (77 lbs) of downforce at 200 km/h (124 mph). Also included are a front spoiler, side skirts and a protective wrap.

The interior can be spruced up a bit with aluminum paddle shifters and pedal pads, a decorative cover for the iDrive controller, and a new key holder, among other things.
