A while ago, suspension maker H&R released a lowering kit for the range-topping G23 BMW 440i, and now, similar kits are available for the more affordable 320i, 320d, and 430i models.
Once installed, the upgrade drops the ride height by 40 mm (1.6”) on the front axle and 25 mm (1”) on the rear one. If present, adaptive dampers will continue to work normally. Swaying will be considerably reduced in curves.
The 440i xDrive gets a similar upgrade, but slightly different lowering values. The front end becomes 35 mm (1.4”) lower and the rear end 30 mm (1.2”) lower than stock.
As usual, the tuner offers wheel spacers for precise adjustment of wheels within their respective arches. A set of 6mm spacers costs €47, for example.
