We primarily know tuningblog.eu for its excellent reviews of the tuning industry (in German), but the team has recently obtained a show car that they intend to bring to the various offline events from now on.
It is a pre-facelift 2018 BMW M550i xDrive boosted to deliver more than its usual amount of thrust. The stock car has 462 PS (456 hp / 340 kW) and 650 Nm (479 lb-ft) of torque, but this one rocks an upgrade by Special Concepts and runs on high-octane fuel, which gives it 550 PS (542 hp / 404 kW) and 850 Nm (627 lb-ft) of torque. Moving forward, the team plans to replace the exhaust system and the turbochargers to squeeze another 100 PS (99 hp / 74 kW) and 100 Nm (73 lb-ft) of torque out of their build.
On the outside, the car is instantly recognizable thanks to a Maxton Design front spoiler, gloss-black décor instead of grey, an M-style rear diffuser, and special badges throughout. Things stay more or less stock inside except for an Alpina-inspired digital gauge cluster and a few comfort-oriented tweaks.
How do you like this one?
